After an incredibly painful week, Keiran and I have sorted through everything and things have changed for the better, We are moving forward but are still cancelling the wedding, we are both so young and there is no rush, it may pop up again down the track, but thats not a worry, the important thing is that we have each other, not whether we sign a bit of paper or not!

I couldn't be happier, even though it has been a crap situation, it has bettered us, we have been completely honest with each other and worked through issues that needed to be, expectations have been dropped as we were too focussed on what society wants us to do (well mostly me in that regard) But i can't wait to see what is waiting for us. I'm glad out of a crap situation there has been good.

Keiran and I have called the wedding off.

The soot on the ground has been upturned and what was great is now struggling. I am struggling, But I will cope. This air is dusty, grimy, it's hard to make sense of it all.

At this moment in time, we are on a break... but it is difficult as we both love each other, focus is turned to career and independence rather than commitment and our future.

It hurts. I want him so badly. If he wanted I'd elope tomorrow with him, as I am so ready for our life that we can have, screw that fancy wedding we were planning (what i was planning/thought I wanted) it was merely the tradition, getting caught up in what society paints us to do... I just want to go away with you, forget this world, ignore it all. and just see you. I can never love another like i do you.

i'll wait by your side till you defragment your mind.

...look back at past comments you've made on artworks and think "I so don't agree with that!"

As of recent times I've been delving back into my favorites gallery and looking at the comments I made and pretty much completely disagree with them, as my skills and tastes in art mature I'm noticing more and more how immature i was as an artist when i first joined DA and how my lack of understanding of certain mediums made me like certain things more when really there wasn't a lot of skill involved.

Is this a positive or a negative?

Is it good that I now look at artworks I faved and think, why did I fave that... it's crap, or have i become an art snob now?

either way now I do like that my taste has matured even if I now dislike a large majority of my faves gallery. I guess it's a good reminder to where I came from and to not be as critical in some areas as somethign that may not be the best example of something still does bring enjoyment to others.

It's just interesting how tastes and opinions change

If you visit my gallery now you will see a bunch of new submissions, these are the cover art ans pages from the booklet for Keiran's debut album "TORT" it was a joint project where Keiran and I worked out what each illustration for the literature would depict and I created the outcome. All the literature in the works are originals from Keiran.

This has been by far one of the best projects I've been involved in and we were both very happy with the outcome. it was a long time coming, and It was great to see it in it's final state.
